Reports approve that Forum Nokia is the world’s largest online global mobile developer community as it has the highest number of users. The number of registered users is as high as 3.8 million from across the globe and from among them, 140,000 registered developers are from India. The number reportedly has been growing at a rate of 48 percent annually.
Forum Nokia provides latest insights, information, tools etc on mobile application development through discussion boards, Wikis, blogs, monthly newsletters, chats and podcasts. All Web resources are offered free of charge to developers interested in creating software for Nokia mobile devices.
In a move to benefit from this brain pool, Forum Nokia has announced a global contest for developers called "Calling All Innovators", to create mobile applications that will contribute towards the upliftment of the society. Nokia will award $150,000 to the winner as well as provide help in distributing the mobile application.
