Lenovo to launch K5 Note in India
Lenovo has confirmed that it will be launching its K5 Note Smartphone in India on August 1.

Lenovo K5 Note was launched in China in January at a price of $167, which roughly translates to Rs 11,189.

Available in Golden and Silver color options, Lenovo K5 Note flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. With the older K4 Note recently having received Android Marshmallow upgrade, Lenovo is expected to offer the update to the upcoming K5 Note soon as well.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. On-board storage of the handset stands at 16GB, which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Smartphone also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos for an enhanced user experience. It features a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and an 8MP front snapper for clicking selfies. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The dual-sim phone is backed by a 3,500 mAh battery.

It would be interesting to see whether Lenovo bundles the ANT VR headset along with the K5 Note, as it did with the K4 Note. The company recently launched the Wooden Edition of the K4 Note, priced at Rs 11,499.

Oppo launches A37 in India
Chinese Smartphone maker Oppo has launched its latest handset in India. Dubbed as Oppo A37 the Smartphone is priced at Rs 11,990 and comes equipped with two-high performance cameras.

The dual-SIM supporting Oppo A37 runs Android Lollipop out-of-the-box with ColorOS 3.0 skin. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. Under-the-hood it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM.

The Smartphone features a 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB). On the camera front the Oppo A37 houses an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, along with a 5MP front-facing camera. The camera can also shoot videos in full-HD resolution. Also, the handset's Ultra HD mode lets users even capture 24MP images from the rear camera.

For the purpose of connectivity, the Oppo A37 supports 3G, 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB.

Oppo launches A59 Smartphone
Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Oppo has launched its latest handset A59. Priced at $274, the device will be available for pre-order on the company's official online store starting June 18.

Oppo A59 comes with a metal unibody design having a Zirconium metal finish, and will come in Rose Gold and Gold color options.

For connectivity, the Oppo A59 flaunts a 5.5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. There's 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded by microSD cards of the same capacity.

Oppo A59 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and houses a 3,075mAh battery. It features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing shooter. The handset also includes a fingerprint sensor and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options.

Infocus launches Bingo 20 Smartphone
US based Smartphone manufacturer InFocus has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Bingo 20. The handset comes with a price tag of Rs 5,479 and it will be available across all the retail stores in the country in white, blue and orange color options.

The InFocus Bingo 20 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 854x480 pixels resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.5GHz quad-core Spredtrum processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The onboard storage of the device accounts to 8GB which can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.

The Smartphone comes with Dual SIM functionality and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system topped with the Inlife UI of the company. The device comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing snapper for selfies. The connectivity attributes of the handset include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and it packs a 2,300 mAh battery.

Reliance announces LYF Wind 6 and Flame 1
Reliance Retail has announced the launch of its entry level 4G Smartphones- LYF Wind 6 and LYF Flame 1. Both the devices support VoLTE and VoWiFi and will be priced under Rs 7000.

The Wind 6 and Flame 1 offer HD-quality voice and video calls along with multi-party voice and video conferencing and Wi-Fi calling. The Smartphones also allow switching of a call from the service provider's network to any available WiFi network.

The LYF Flame 1 offers 4.5-inch display while the Wind 6 comes with a 5-inch screen. The Flame 1 will be available in White, Dark Red and Dark Blue color options. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory with support for microSD cards of up to 32GB. It is dual SIM smartphone are supports micro SIM cards.

Backed by a 2,000mAh battery, the Flame 1 has a 5MP A/F rear camera with Led Flash and 5MP selfie camera. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The Wind 6 features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display and will be available in Black, White and Gold color options. It is powered by a 2,250mAh battery. Other specs are similar to the smaller Flame 1.

Asus launches Zenfone Max
Earlier this month Asus launched its Smartphone Zenfone Max with 5,000 MAh battery in India priced at Rs 9,999. The company has now revealed that the handset is now available for purchase on all the leading online and retail stores across the country.

The Asus Zenfone Max packs 5,000mAh battery and 5.5-inch HD screen with Gorilla Glass 4. The smartphone has a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB RAM and will come with 16GB internal storage option; it will support microSD cards of up to 64GB capacity.

On the back of Zenfone Max is a 13MP rear camera with laser autofocus and dual-tone, dual-LED flash, whereas the front camera has 5MP resolution. This 4G Smartphone comes with Asus's ZenUI software, based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), out of the box.

Lenovo launches Vibe K4 Note Smartphone
Lenovo has finally launched its Vibe K4 Note model. The successor to last year's K3 Note, the new Smartphone is priced at starting price of Rs 11,999.

Among the key features of Lenovo Vibe K4 Note are fingerprint sensor, octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 5.5-inch display with virtual reality support.

On the hardware side, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080x1920p) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone packs 16GB internal storage and supports microSD cards (up to 128GB) and USB on-the-go. Under the hood is the 64-bit octa-core Mediatek 6753 chipset.

K4 Note sports a 13MP rear camera, while the front camera has 5MP sensor. For connectivity, the smartphone features 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC. It is powered by a 3,300mAh battery that supports fast-charging technology.

Lenovo Vibe K4 Note runs on Android Lollipop with Vibe UI. The Smartphone will soon be upgraded to Android Marshmallow.

The company has used Dolby Atmos sound enhancement technology for both the speakers and the earphones, a first for Smartphones.

Vibe K4 Note presents a stark shift in the design language used by the company compared to the predecessor. The new smartphone sports a curved back panel, similar to what we saw in Vibe S1 rather than the block-ish design of K3 Note.

The standard Vibe K4 Note model has been priced at Rs 11,999.

Gionee announces P5W Smartphone
Gionee has announced P5W Smartphone. The device will be available in White, Blue, Red,Yellow and Black colors.

Featuring a 5-inch (1280x720p) HD IPS display, the dual sim phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor and 1GB RAM.

It offers 16GB of internal storage and can hold microSD cards for extra storage.

Gionee P5W packs 2000mAh battery and sports 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera.

For the connectivity, it supports 2G, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and microUSB.

According to Zauba listing, the Smartphone has been imported to India for Rs 6,352 last month.

Micromax Canvas Pace 4G Q416 now Available
Micromax Canvas Pace 4G Q416 which was launched recently has now been listed at the company's official website and is available for buying via various online stores.

Priced at Rs 6,821, the Smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854p) display and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor and 1GB RAM and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

At this price, Micromax's new entry-level Smartphone competes with the likes of Yu Yuphoria and Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime.

The phone, available only in black colour, packs 2,500mAh battery and sports a 5MP rear camera along with 2MP selfie camera.

Micromax Canvas Pace 4G offers 8GB of internal storage and can hold microSD cards of up to 32GB.

Lava launches Iris X10
Domestic handset manufacturer Lava has launched the Iris X10 Smartphone in India. The device has been priced at Rs 10,990. It competes with the likes of Micromax Canvas Sliver 5, Intex Aqua Ace, and Lenovo K3 Note. It is currently listed on HomeShop18.

Lava Iris X10 features a 5-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with Star OS.

Powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 3GB RAM, the Smartphone offers 16GB internal storage and has a microSD card slot. The phone packs 2900mAh battery, and sports 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5MP selfie camera.

For the connectivity purpose, Lava's new Smartphone Iris X10 supports 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.

Obi Worldphone launches SF1 Smartphone
Backed by former Apple CEO John Sculley, Obi Worldphone has launched SF1 Smartphone in India. Obi Worldphone SF1 Smartphone will be available starting December 7.

The dual-SIM Smartphone will come in two variants - one with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, priced at Rs 11,999 and the other with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, priced at Rs 13,999.

Featuring a 5-inch 1080p display, SF1 is powered by 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and Adreno 405 GPU and runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop skinned with Obi Lifespeed UI. The phone packs 3000mAh battery, and can hold microSD cards of up to 64GB.

SF1 sports a 13MP rear camera along with 5MP selfie camera. Other features of the Smartphone include microphones for noise cancelation, Dolby Audio Surround and Quick Charge 1.0.

ZTE unveils Blade S7
Chinese handset maker ZTE has unveiled a new Smartphone - Blade S7 - which can be the 'the perfect Smartphone for selfie lovers.'
Both the cameras in ZTE Blade S7's - primary and secondary - are 13MP, and both come along with LED flash.

The front-facing or selfie camera also has a phase detection autofocus, Panorama, and supports 14 different beautification options. Apart from this, the Smartphone also sports a fingerprint scanner.

ZTE Blade S7 Smartphone sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920p) LTPS display and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 operating system skinned with MiFavor 3.2 UI, and packs 2500mAh battery.

Powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, the phone comes with 3GB RAM and offers 32GB built-in storage, and can support microSD cards of up to 64GB. The phone is available in four color variants - Lemon Green, Rose Gold, Diamond White and Space Grey - and as of now has only been unveiled in Shanghai.

ZTE has not so far revealed the pricing details of the Smartphone, but has said that it will first be launched in Thailand, and will be later made in available in other markets of Asia-Pacific.

HTC launches Desire 828
HTC has listed a new Smartphone, Desire 828 dual SIM n its website, which is now available for pre-orders.

The phone has been listed in China and is priced at CNY 1,599. This is the first phone in HTC's Desire range to offer OIS (optical image stabilization).

HTC Desire 828 dual SIM features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920p) IPS display and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC and 2GB RAM. The phone further offers 16GB internal storage and can hold microSD cards of up to 2TB.

Domestic handset and tablet-maker Swipe Technologies as launched a new affordable 4G LTE-enabled Smartphone - Elite 2 - in an exclusive partnership with Flipkart. The device is priced of Rs 4,666.

The new phone will be powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM unit. The phone, which has an internal memory of 8GB expandable up to 32GB, will come with an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

It will draw power from a 1,900mAh battery and run proprietary Freedom operating system on Android Lollipop.

Xolo launches Black 1X
Domestic handset maker Xolo has launched a new budget Smartphone, Black 1X. The phone, a successor to Xolo Black, will be available starting November 6 exclusively on Snapdeal. The device will be available at a price of Rs 9,999.

The Smartphone will be sold via flash sale model. Black 1X is a dual-SIM Smartphone. It features a 5-inch full HD On-Cell IPS display and is powered by MTK 6753 Octa-Core processor with 64-bit CPU and 3GB RAM.

The phone offers 32GB internal storage and can hold microSD cards of up to 128GB.

Oppo unveils R7s Smartphone
Chinese device maker Oppo has unveiled R7s Smartphone that supports 4G and features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920p) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

R7s was unveiled in Dubai and the Smartphone will be first launched in Australia followed by Singapore, Taiwan and other markets. However, Oppo hasn’t yet given any details about the phone's availability in India or its pricing.

Oppo R7s is a dual-SIM Smartphone with hybrid SIM slot, which supports both micro-SIM and nano-SIM cards. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) and 4GB RAM, the phone has 32GB of internal storage and can hold microSD cards of up to 128GB.

The Smartphone packs a 3070mAh non-removable battery and sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera.

R7s runs Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with ColorOS 2.1 and in addition to 4G, it can support Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, microUSB, and USB OTG, and Wi-Fi connectivity options.

Gionee Elife launched E8 in India
Chinese Smartphone maker Gionee has launched its latest flagship Smartphone Elife E8 in India. Successor to its Elife E7, Gionee Elife E8 is priced at Rs 34,999 and would be exclusively available on Snapdeal from October 12.

The 6-inch Super AMOLED screen of Gionee Elife E8 has 1440x2540p resolution, while the operating system is Android 5.1 (Lollipop) featuring the company's Amigo 3.1 software. The Smartphone has a 2GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6795 chipset (Helio X10) )with 3GB RAM and comes with 64GB internal storage. The new E8 comes with microSD card slot, which can pack up to 128GB of storage.

The Smartphone features a 24MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.

The dual-SIM Smartphone supports 4G and NFC, as well as standard connectivity options. Powered by a 3,500mAh battery, Gionee Elife E8 has a fingerprint scanner and dual speakers that support High Fidelity sound.

According to the company, Elife E8's 24MP rear camera can produce images of up to 100MP resolution.

The Smartphone was first announced in China in June this year.

Intex launches Aqua Ace

Intex has launched a new Android 5.1 Lollipop-based budget Smartphone - Aqua Ace. The device has been priced at Rs 12,999.

The Smartphone, available in black and white colours, features a 5-inch HD (720x1280p) Super AMOLED display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor and 3GB RAM.

Intex Aqua Ace has 16GB of internal storage and can hold microSD cards of up to 128GB. It measures 145x71.5x6.7mm and weighs 121 grams.

Aqua Ace packs a 2300mAh battery and sports an 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera.

iBall launches Cobalt Solus 4G
Domestic handset brand iBall has launched a new Smartphone - iBall Cobalt Solus 4G - in the market. The device has been priced at Rs 11,999. It is the first 4G-enabled Smartphone by the company.

At this price, it competes with the likes of Xiaomi Mi 4i and Motorola Moto G (Third-Gen) 8GB.

The Smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has a 5.0-inch HD IPS display.

Powered by 1GHz quad-core 64 bit processor and Mali graphic core coupled with 2GB RAM, the Smartphone has 16GB internal storage.

Micromax launches Bolt Q338
Micromax has launched a new Smartphone - Bolt Q338. Although the device has been listed on the company website there is no information about the availability or pricing. 

The dual-SIM Smartphone, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. 

Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6580) processor and 1GB RAM, the smartphone comes with 8GB internal storage. Users can slip in microSD cards of up to 32GB capacity for additional storage. 

Bolt Q338 packs a 2,000mAh battery and comes with 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. 

The phone supports 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS connectivity options. 

The Smartphone comes pre-loaded with the First Touch launcher and apps such as Amazon Kindle, Amazon Shopping, App Center, Chaatz, Clean Master and Newshunt.
