Oppo F5 Smartphone with 20 MP Front Camera

Chinese Smartphone maker Oppo has launched its flagship Smartphone F5 at an event in Philippines. The selfie-focused Smartphone comes in Gold, Black and Red color options. The company has launched two variants of the Smartphone with 6 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM. The Smartphone will go on pre-order on November 3 and will go on sale starting November 4. The company has already announced that it will launch the Oppo F5 in India on November 2.

The Oppo F5 comes with metal unibody and features a 6-inch full view display with 18:9 aspect ratio and full HD + resolution with 1080x2160 pixels. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The Smartphone runs Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and is powered by a 2.5 GHz MediaTek Helio P23 processor.

The Smartphone comes with dual SIM functionality and offers 4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The users can further expand the storage up to 256 GB by adding a microSD card. The Smartphone comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and a 16 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash.

The Smartphone also has a 20 MP front facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera is powered with AI beauty recognition technology which can scan up to 200 facial recognition spots that helps in beatifying the selfie. Along with this, the front camera also offers bokeh effect. The front camera can also be used to unlock the phone.

The Smartphone measures 156.5 x 76 x 7.5 mm, is backed by a 3200mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

The Smartphone also comes with O-share file sharing technology which claims to make the Bluetooth file transfer 100 times faster.

Oppo A71 Smartphone Launched
Chinese Smartphone maker Oppo has silently launched a new Smartphone for the Pakistan and Malaysian markets. Dubbed as Oppo A71, the Smartphone is listed on the official website at RM 858 which is approximately Rs 13,000.

The Oppo A71 comes with a uni-body design and sports a 5.2-inch screen with full HD display resolution. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It offers 16GB internal storage and a 3000mAh battery. 


In terms of camera, the device has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. It has a Dual-SIM card functionality and offers Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi as connectivity options.

It is available in Black and Gold color variants and weighs 137g with 148.1x73.8x7.6mm dimensions.

Leaked: Vivo Y69 Specifications
Chinese Smartphone maker Vivo is soon going to launch a new Smartphone. The Smartphone is dubbed as Vivo Y69 and has been spotted along with specifications.

It has been revealed that the Smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch IPS HD display with 1280x720p resolution and 267 ppi. The device is said to be powered by 1.5 GHz 64 Bit MT6750 octa-core processor and Mali T860, coupled with 3GB RAM. In terms of storage, the handset is expected to offer 32GB internal support as well as up 256GB of external support. It also has a fingerprint sensor, although the position of the same has not been mentioned.

The Vivo Y69 reportedly features 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 with Auto Focus and LED flash. At front, it is supposed to have 16 MP with f/2.0 with soft light flash.

Backed by 3,000 mAh battery, the handset is said to run Android 7.0 Nougat OS with FunTouch OS 3.2 skin. In terms of connectivity, the Dual-SIM Smartphone reportedly offers Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth, OTG, GPS.

However, the date of availability of Vivo Y69 is not specified.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro Smartphone in India
Samsung may soon launch its Galaxy C7 Pro Smartphone in India. A handset bearing model number SM-C701F (same as the C7 Pro) recently received Wi-Fi certification.

The Galaxy C7 Pro was launched in China, back in January this year. The dual-SIM Smartphone has a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. It's backed by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. There's also 64GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 256GB in size.

Galaxy C7 Pro has a 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture. The camera can record Full HD videos.

The 4G LTE-capable Galaxy C7 Pro includes USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and all major connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It's backed by a 3,300mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will be available in three colors - Gold, Pink and Blue. The company listing page reads that the handset has an efficient heat pipe cooling system. Samsung Pay support is also there.

There is no official information about the launching of Galaxy C7 Pro in the Indian market; although it’s expected to be launched soon.

Gionee launches A1 and A1 Plus Smartphones
Gionee has launched two new Smartphones at the ongoing MWC 2017 conference in Barcelona, Spain. The Chinese tech company showcased the A1 and A1 Plus Smartphones, both of which are claimed to have long battery life and features that enable 'enhanced' selfie images.

Both Gionee A1 and the A1 Plus will be made available in select countries starting March 2017 and April 2017 respectively. While the A1 costs EUR 349, the A1 Plus bears a price tag of EUR 499.

Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the Gionee A1 Plus features a 6-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The dual-SIM handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. There's also 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using microSD cards of up to 256GB.

The Gionee A1 features a 20MP selfie camera. There's also a dual rear camera setup comprised of a 13MP module and a 5MP module, in addition to a 5P lens and dual-LED flash.

The Smartphone sports Waves MaxxAudio technology and is backed by a 4,550mAh battery. Measuring 166.4mmx83.3mmx9.1mm, the Gionee A1 Plus weighs 226g and will be available in Gray, Mocha and Gold colour variants.

The dual-SIM Android 7.0 Nougat-based Gionee A1 sports 5.5-inch Full HD resolution AMOLED display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, clubbed with 4GB of RAM. Internal storage stands at 64GB and can be expanded via microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.

Gionee A1 sports a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Lens and selfie flash. There is a 13MP rear autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture included in the mix as well.

Both handsets feature a bokeh-selfie affect, allowing users to blur the background for better selfies. The A1 comes with Waves MaxxAudio and is powered by a 4,010mAh battery. Weighing 182g, the handset will be available in Gray, Black and Gold colour variants.

HTC U Ultra, U Play Smartphones in India
Taiwanese Smartphone maker HTC is all set to launch its latest U Ultra and U Play Smartphones in India.

HTC unveiled the two Smartphones in the international market last month. The key highlight of the devices is the Sense Companion, an AI-based assistant. 


HTC's Sense Companion is similar to the likes of Google Assistant and Apple Siri. According to the company, the AI assistant learns the user's working patterns and optimizes the device accordingly. The assistant also is integrated with Google Assistant, meaning it doesn't directly compete with it.

HTC U Ultra sports LG V20-like dual display. Besides a 5.7-inch QHD LCD display, there is also a 2-inch screen on top with 1040x160 pixel resolution. While the 64GB variant has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating, the 128GB version has Sapphire Glass coating.

The Smartphone is powered by the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM. The base model comes with 64GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. There is also a 128GB storage version.

The Smartphone comes with a 12-UltraPixel 2 rear autofocus camera with BSI sensor, OIS, PDAF f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. There is a 16-MP front-facing shooter with BSI sensor as well. The camera can record 4K resolution videos with 3D Audio.

The HTC U Ultra is backed by a 3000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 26 hours of talk time on 3G or 4G connectivity. The battery also supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology. As for the connectivity, the Smartphone includes 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2 and USB Type-C (USB 3.1).

The HTC U Play Smartphone sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display with Super LCD and Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clubbed with 3GB or 4GB RAM. The Smartphone will be available in 32GB or 64GB inbuilt storage versions with microSD card expansion.

There is a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor, OIS, PDAF and dual-tone LED fash along with the 16MP front-facing camera same as the HTC U Ultra. The handset has a 2500mAh battery that is said to run for up to 15.2 hours on talk time and support fast charging technology. The connectivity features remain the same as the U Ultra.

Both the U-Series HTC Smartphones are dual-SIM and run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Zen launches Cinemax Force Smartphone
Domestic Smartphone brand Zen has launched another budget Smartphone, Cinemax Force. Priced at Rs 4,390, Zen Cinemax Force features a 5.5-inch display with Dragontail glass. It is powered by 1.3GHz Quad Core processor and 1GB RAM.

Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, the new Zen Smartphone packs 8GB of internal storage and 1GB RAM. The users can also install a microSD card of up to 32GB to expand the storage capacity.

The dual-SIM Smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera and houses a 2MP front camera for selfies. It is backed by a 2900 mAh battery that promises up to 30 hours of non-stop talk time and supports 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS on the connectivity front.

Zen Cinemax Force Smartphone comes pre-loaded with multimedia offerings like games, Saavn, Ultrazone, Cool Gallery and Xender. It also has some gesture controls, like users can make an 'o' to go to Phone Dialer, draw 'c' to open Camera or 'e' to open browser etc.

Intex Launches Cloud Tread 3G Smartphone
Intex has launched another entry-level Smartphone, Cloud Tread. The device is priced at Rs 4,999 and will be exclusively available on Snapdeal starting August 30. The Smartphone comes in Grey and Champagne color options.

Yu Yunique Plus and Yureka S Smartphones
Yu Televentures, the subsidiary brand of Micromax has added two more Smartphones to its line-up. The new devices -Yu Yunique Plus and Yureka S, will be available across all the retail outlets.

Yu Yunique Plus features a 4.7-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution and further secured with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The Smartphone has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further via microSD cards.

The Yunique Plus boasts an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing snapper for selfies. It is backed by a 2,000mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. As for the price, it's Rs 6,999.

The Yu Yureka S bears a price tag of Rs 12,999 and flaunts a 5.2-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The screen is further protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla 3. The Dual SIM Smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.


Powering the Yureka S is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.1GHz paired with 3GB of RAM. Internal storage of the Smartphone stands at 16GB and can be expanded via microSD cards.

Intex launches Aqua Music Smartphone
Intex has launched a music-focused Smartphone, called Aqua Music. The device is priced at Rs 9,317. It sports dual-speakers at the back, one at the top and other at bottom.

Huawei Maimang 5 launched in China
Huawei has launched its Maimang 5 Smartphone in China, which is said to go on sale globally with 'Huawei G9' moniker. The smartphone is a successor to the company's Maimang 4, which later launched as Huawei G8 globally.

Huawei has already launched its G9 Lite Smartphone in China in May this year.

Based on variations in RAM and inbuilt storage combinations, the dual-SIM Smartphone comes in two variants. The device is available in 3GB RAM + 32GB and 4GB RAM + 64GB versions.

The Huawei Maimang 5 features a 5.5-inch full-HD resolution IPS display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. Inside, the handset boasts of an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and supports microSD card up to 128GB. Maimang 5 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the company's EMUI 4.1 on top.

The Smartphone sports 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Backed by a 3340mAh battery, the the new Huawei supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type-C port.

The 3G RAM version is available in Champagne Gold and Moonlight Silver color variants, while the 4G RAM variant will comes in Champagne Gold and Rose Gold colors.

The former costs CNY 2399, the latter variant is priced at CNY 2599. It is supposed to go on sale starting July 21.

There are speculations that the Chinese telecom major Huawei may launch its flagship P9 smartphone in India this month. The highlight of Huawei P9 smartphone is its two Leica-made 12MP rear cameras.

Reliance launches Lyf Flame 4 with 8 GB Storage
Reliance Retail has launched another Smartphone under its Lyf series. Called Lyf Flame 4, the Smartphone appears to be the successor to the recently-launched Lyf Flame 3. Lyf Flame 4 is listed on the company's website at a price tag of Rs 3,999. The Lyf Flame 3 also sports the same price tag as Lyf Flame 4.

The dual-SIM supporting Lyf Flame 4 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixel) display with pixel density of 225ppi. The screen is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass. Inside, the budget Smartphone packs a quad-core processor with Mali 400 GPU and 512MB RAM.

The Lyf Flame 4 sports a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. The handset camera can shoot videos in HD resolution at 30 frames per second. Some of the other camera features included are HDR, Panorama, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Burst Mode and more.

The Flame 4 houses 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB. It supports 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and micro-USB connectivity.

Measuring 122.5x64.4x10.25mm, the Lyf Flame 4 weighs 117 gram and is backed by a 1400mAh battery. The battery is rated to deliver standby time of up to 150 hours and a talk time of up to 4.5 hours. In addition, the Smartphone also gives users the option to choose from 10 local languages.

The Lyf Flame 3 Smartphone, which Reliance Retail launched just about 24 hours ago, features largely similar specifications except for the inbuilt storage capacity, camera and battery. The Lyf Flame 3 houses a better 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. It is backed by a 1700mAh battery, which is 300mAh more than the Lyf Flame 4 and has an inbuilt storage of 4GB instead of Flame 4's 8GB.

US based Smartphone manufacturer InFocus has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Bingo 20. The handset comes with a price tag of Rs 5,479 and it will be available across all the retail stores in the country in white, blue and orange color options.

Vivo Xplay 5, First 6GB RAM Smartphone
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched its flagship device Xplay 5. The company has introduced two variants of the Smartphone, one with 6GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and the other with 4GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.

The company has priced the Vivo Xplay5 Ultimate Edition with 6GB RAM with Snapdragon 820 SoC is priced at $654, whereas the 4GB RAM with Snapdragon 652 variant costs $564.

The Vivo Xplay 5 features a 5.43-inch QHD display with 2560x1440 pixels resolution protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The Smartphone offers Dual SIM functionality and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

It comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and an 8MP front facing snapper for selfies. The US-based Smartphone maker Infocus has announced the launch of its new series of Smartphones called Bingo. Along with this, the company has also launched a new selfie Smartphone under the same series called Bingo 21.
