Lava launches A56
Domestic Smartphone brand Lava has launched another entry-level Smartphone, A56. The company has priced the device at Rs 4,199 and it will be available with all big retailers across the country.

The dual-SIM Lava A56 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box. The Smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480x854 pixel resolution. 

Powering the handset is a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. Lava A56 offers 4GB of internal storage and the users can expand it up to 32GB by installing a microSD card.

The new Lava Smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. The device packs 1,850 mAh battery and offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity options.

Lava launces A82 Smartphone in India
In India 60% of the total population resides in small towns and villages. This means over 600 million smartphone users are in these places.

Lava launches X3 Smartphone
The Indian Smartphone maker Lava has added yet another budget device to its product portfolio with the launch of Lava X3. The company has priced the handset at Rs 6,499 and it will be available via Flipkat and Amazon. The device is availablein Silver, White and Gold color options.

The Lava X3 features a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. The Smartphone comes with Dual SIM functionality and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The device offers 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded further using a microSD card.

The Lava X3 comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing snapper for clicking selfies. Its connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and houses a 2,500 mAh battery.

Only last month, Lava launched its flagship Smartphone called Lava V5 at a price of Rs 11,499. The Lava V5 4G features a 5.5-inch HD display protected with a coating of Corning Gorillas Glass 3 on top. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage of the handset accounts to 16GB with a microSD card support up to 32GB.

Lava launches Ivory M4 tablet
Mobile handset-maker Lava International Limited has launched Ivory M4, the flagship device to strengthen its tablet portfolio.

The tablet has been designed to meet needs of students and young working professionals and is priced at Rs 9,299.

Ivory M4 features a 8-inch HD IPS display screen with 1280x800p resolution and is 7.9mm thick. The tablet packs 2GB DDR3 RAM, 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 16GB internal storage under the hood and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with and supports single-sim (3G speeds).

In terms of camera, it sports an 8MP autofocus rear shooter with HD recording. In the front is a 3.2MP camera for video calls. Other camera modes include Panorama, macro, Live Photo, Motion track and Face beauty. Along with 3G, the tablet offers USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB, and Bluetooth support. Powering the device is a 4000mAh Li- Po battery.

Lava launches Iris X10
Domestic handset manufacturer Lava has launched the Iris X10 Smartphone in India. The device has been priced at Rs 10,990. It competes with the likes of Micromax Canvas Sliver 5, Intex Aqua Ace, and Lenovo K3 Note. It is currently listed on HomeShop18.

Lava Iris X10 features a 5-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with Star OS.

Powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 3GB RAM, the Smartphone offers 16GB internal storage and has a microSD card slot. The phone packs 2900mAh battery, and sports 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5MP selfie camera.

For the connectivity purpose, Lava's new Smartphone Iris X10 supports 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.

Lava launches Iris Atom 2X
Domestic Smartphone maker Lava has launched an entry-level Smartphone Iris Atom 2X. The device is priced at Rs 4,499. Lava Iris Atom 2X Smartphone has a 4.5 inch FWVGA display and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.

The dual-SIM Smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM and supports microSD cards of up to 32GB.

Powered by a 2,000mAh battery, Lava Iris Atom 2X sports 5MP primary camera with LED flash, along with a VGA secondary camera. The connectivity options in the phone include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority recently issued an allotment letter to the Lava International to set up an electronics manufacturing cluster (EMC) on 100 acres of land along the expressway.

The company already has a research & development centre in India and an in-house product testing set-up in China.

Lava launches Pixel V2
Domestic handset vendor Lava has launched the limited edition variant of Pixel V2 Smartphone in Prism Blue colour. Priced at Rs 11,050, the new variant has been launched for a limited period till the end of December 2015.

The other two variants of the Smartphone, available in Icy White and Royal Black colours, would continue to sell at a price of Rs 10,750.

Pixel V2 features 13MP f2.0 rear camera with dual LED flash and the 8MP f2.4 selfie camera with LED flash and can support dual 4G sim cards. The Smartphone sports a 5-inch scratch-resistant HD display with Dragontrail Glass protection.

It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek quad-core processor coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM.

Lava Pixel V2 offer 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD cards, and runs Star OS 2.0 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).

The Pixel V2 packs a 2,500 mAh Li-Po battery.

Lava launches Flair P1 Smartphone
Domestic handset maker Lava has launched an entry-level Android Smartphone, Flair P1, which is available at Rs 3,399. The phone will be available in black and white colour variants, across all retail stores, multi-brand outlets and online stores.

Three more smartphones are expected to be launched under this series in the coming months.

Lava Flair P1 features a 4-inch WVGA (480x80op) TFT display.

Powered by a 1GHz processor (unspecified chipset), the phone has 256MB RAM and 2GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

It sports a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. The phone comes with a 1400mAh battery.

Flair P1 supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and A-GPS.

Lava launches Iris 348, Iris 349 Sleek
Indian Smartphone maker Lava has added two new budget Smartphones to its portfolio - Lava Iris 348, Iris 349 Sleek. The new Lava Smartphones are dual-SIM and offer largely identical specifications.

Both Lava Iris 348 and Iris 349 Sleek have the same 3.5-inch HVGA TFT display and are powered by single-core processor with clock speed of 1GHz. There's 2MP rear camera and VGA secondary camera. Both the phones boast of 256MB RAM and 512MB of in-built storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. On connectivity front both Iris 348 and Iris 349 Sleek support Edge, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth.

However, the two Smartphones have different dimensions, while Iris 348 measures 116x61.6x11.3mm, Iris 349 Sleek measures 117x61.6x11.9mm.


Another difference is on operating system front: Lava Iris 348 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat; Iris 349 Sleek runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Similarly, while Iris 348 comes with 1100mAh battery, Iris 349 Sleek features 1300mAh battery.

The two phones will also be available in different colors: Iris 348 will come in White and Black colors; Iris 349 Sleek will come in Dark Blue and White colors.

Lava launches Iris Alfa L
Indian mobile brand Lava has launched a new Smartphone, Iris Alfa L, expanding its Iris series. The Smartphone is available across retail stores, multi-brand outlets and online stores at Rs 8,000.

Its chief competitors in the Indian market will be Moto E (2nd Gen), Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Lenovo A7000.

The dual-SIM Smartphone Lava Iris Alfa L features a 5.5-inch qHD (960x540p) IPS display and, measures 9.35mm in thickness and weighs 165gram.

Powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, Lava Iris Alfa L has a 1GB RAM, and comes with 8GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32 GB via micro-SD card.

It sports a 8MP autofocus PureCel rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.

The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and packs a 3,000mAh battery.

Available in white and metallic grey colours, the phone supports 3G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro-USB 2.0.

The Smartphone is a successor to the Iris Alfa, which was launched in January this year.

Lava launches Icon Smartphone
Lava has expanded its Smartphone portfolio with the addition of Icon. The Smartphone is priced at Rs 11,990 and will compete against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Lenovo A7000, Moto G (second generation), Microsoft Lumia 640 and Micromax Yu Yureka.

Indian handset brand Lava has launched a new Smartphone, Iris X1 Beats, expanding its Iris X series. Available in White-Silver, White-Gold, and Ink Black colors, the Smartphone comes at Rs 6,552.

The dual SIM Smartphone features a 5-inch (480x854p) FWVGA IPS display. The phone boasts of a K-Class Amplifier combined with better quality speakers.
