Domestic device maker iBall has launched Slide i701 tablet
that runs Windows 8.1. Priced at Rs 4,999, it's the cheapest Windows tablet
available at the moment.
iBall will bundle a free back cover, HDMI cable and three protective covers with the tablet.
The Slide i701 sports a 7-inch IPS HD display (720x1280p) and is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor and 1GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 32GB.
It runs Windows 8.1 and the company says that users will get a free upgrade to Windows 10 when it releases to the public.
The tablet features a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. It supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI and micro USB. 3G connectivity through a USB dongle is also supported. The tablet comes with a 3200Ah battery.
