Micromax's sub-brand YU has launched Yunique, a new
4G-enabled budget Smartphone. The device is priced at Rs 4,999. The phone will
be exclusively available on Snapdeal via flash sale starting September 15.
The YU Yunique sports a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280p) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to guard against minor scratches.
Powered by a 1.2GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, the phone has 8GB internal storage upgradable up to 32GB via microSD cards.
Unlike other YU phones, Yunique doesn't run Cyanogen OS but features a build of Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The phone sports an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. It's backed by a 2000mAh battery.
For connectivity, the dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. YU Yunique is one of the cheapest 4G-enabled phones available in the market competing with the likes of Lenovo A2010, ZTE Blade Qlux 4G and Phicomm Energy 653.
