In order to expand its S-series line up of Smartphones, Lenovo
has launched S580 at Rs 8,999. The phone will be available for pre-order
exclusively on e-commerce marketplace Snapdeal, starting December 4.
Lenovo S580 sports a laser-etched, 'fabric-feel' rear cover and a 5-inch HD (720x1280p) IPS display. The phone will be available in black, silver and gold colour variants.
Powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and 1GB RAM, the phone comes with 8GB internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 32GB. The phone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean the software is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
The S580 features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, and 2MP front-facing camera.
The dual sim Smartphone supports 3G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity options. It comes with a 2150mAh battery with a claimed standby time of 18.5 days and talkative of 14 hours on 3G networks.
