Karbonn launches Titanium Dazzle
Indian handset brand Karbonn has launched a new budget Smartphone, Titanium Dazzle. Priced at Rs 5,490, the dual-SIM phone is available in two colour variants- Black and White.

The new budget Smartphone sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854) capacitive touch display. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, the phone comes with 8GB internal storage and a micro-SD card that supports cards of up to 32GB capacity.

It sports a 5MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, and a 2MP front camera. The phone has an 1850mAh battery. The Smartphone runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat and offers support for 21 Indian languages.

Karbonn Titanium Dazzle is equipped with Gesture enabled features including "Swipe" which allows users to shuffle to the next song by simply swiping their hand across the screen and "Smart Eye" which tracks eye movement and automatically pauses the video when the user looks away from the screen.

In terms of connectivity options, Karbonn Titanium Dazzle supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Hotspot.

Micromax Canvas Selfie with 13MP Front Camera
Almost around two months after announcing its Selfie-focused Android Smartphone, Canvas Selfie in the Indian market, Micromax has revealed the phone's pricing. The Canvas Selfie will be available at Rs 15,999 and is expected to go on sale in the coming days.

The phone's unique selling proposition is its 13MP front camera which is accompanied by an LED flash.

The phone will be available in mystic blue and angelic white colour variants and sports a faux leather finish at the back. It has a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280p) IPS display.

Powered by a 1.7 GHz MediaTek octa core processor and 2GB RAM, the phone comes with 16GB internal storage and a micro-SD card slot that supports cards of up to 32GB. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Canvas Selfie features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 13MP front-facing camera also accompanied by a flash. Both cameras have auto focus and Sony sensors. The Smartphone comes with inbuilt beauty tools for taking better Selfies in the camera application including 'Eye Enhancement' which makes eyes bigger & brighter; 'Face slimming' which offers high cheek bone effect and rid you of the double chin; 'Skin Smoothening' which helps remove blemishes; 'Teeth Whitening' for whitening teeth; and 'Remove Oil' tool to get rid of the oil patches.

Users can also add make up effects like mascara, eye-shadow, blush and lip gloss.

The dual SIM Smartphone supports 3G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity options. It comes with a 2300mAh battery.

Other Selfie-focused phones include HTC Desire 820 which sports an 8MP front camera. Oppo N1, N1 Mini and N3 phones also come with rotating camera swivels so a single module doubles up as the front as well as the rear camera, offering enhanced Selfies.
Sony launches Xperia E4g with 4G support
Sony has launched Xperia E4g, the 4G enabled version of Xperia E4 Smartphone. Priced at 129 euros (roughly Rs. 9,100), the Smartphone will hit the markets in April.

Available in black and white colours, the E4g will also be available in a dual-SIM version.

Sony Xperia E4g sports a 4.7-inch FWVGA (480x854p) display. Powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and 1GB RAM, the Smartphone has 8GB internal storage and a micro-SD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB.

The phone runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat and comes with a 2300mAh battery with a claimed talk time of about 13 hours and up to 653 hours of standby time.

Sony Xperia E4g features a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.

The phone supports Bluetooth 4.1, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi and GPS, in terms of connectivity options.
Fly Mobiles launches budget Android Phones
UK-based mobile device maker Fly Mobiles has re-launched in India by introducing three new budget Smartphones- Qik+, Wik and Snap. The devices will be available exclusively on online marketplace Snapdeal.

The Fly Qik+ will be available at Rs 6,999, the Wik at Rs 5,999 while the Snap phone will be available at Rs 2,999. Although the three phones run Android 4.4 KitKat, Fly can be upgraded to Lollipop (Android 5.0).

Fly Qik+ sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS OGS display. Powered by a 1.7 GHz MediaTek octa-core processor and 1GB RAM, the phone comes with 8GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via micro-SD card. The phone sports a 13MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP front-facing camera on board.

Lenovo launches Yoga 3 Pro Ultrabook
Lenovo has launched Yoga 3 Pro at Rs 1,14,990 which is one of the slimmest Ultrabooks available in the market. The device will be available at select Lenovo and Croma stores across India.


Lenovo claims that the Yoga 3 Pro is the world's thinnest convertible laptop at 12.7mm, weighing 1.20kg and is available in champagne gold colour.


The Yoga 3 Pro comes with a new watchband hinge design, a QHD+ screen and Harmony, Lenovo's software that adapts to users' personal preferences as they use the device in its different modes (Laptop, Tent, Stand or Tablet).


Lenovo's new 360-degree watchband hinge is constructed from more than 800 pieces of steel and aluminium. Lenovo says its engineers redesigned the original Yoga hinge so that it now provides the same degree of flexibility and flatness seen in metallic watch bands. Instead of two focus points, there are now six.

 

The Yoga 3 Pro features a 13.3-inch QHD+ (3200x1800p) IPS multi-touch display. Powered by an Intel Core M-5Y71 processor (4M cache, up to 2.90GHz dual-core) processor with integrated graphics, the device comes with 4GB LPDDR3 1600 RAM and 512GB SSD for storage. It also sports a 4-in-1 card reader (SD, MMC, SDXC, SDHC), a 720p camera and a backlit keyboard.

 

The Yoga 3 runs Windows 8.1 and supports connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0 port. It comes with a 4-cell, 44.8WH battery delivering a backup of 7.2 hours.

Mitashi launches 6-inch Phablet Duo King
Eyeing the rising demand for Phablets, Mitashi has launched a Phablet with 6-inch screen in the Indian market at Rs 7,499. 

The new model, named Duo King, is powered by Android 4.4 (KitKat) and runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage and can support two SIM cards simultaneously. 

On the imaging front, this budget Phablet has a 5MP camera with dual LED flash on the back and a 0.3MP shooter in front. The Mitashi Duo King can access the internet over 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi, measures 9.9mm in thickness and houses a 2,600mAh battery.
