16GB OnePlus 2 Now Available in India

The OnePlus 2 was launched in two variants (16GB and 64GB) but only the 64GB model was available in India so far. However, the 16GB OnePlus 2 has been released in the country and is now available for purchase on Amazon India.

Along with a smaller data storage capacity, the newly available OnePlus 2 model has 3GB RAM, while the 64GB variant comes with 4GB of system memory. The remaining software and hardware features remain the same.

It is available at Rs 22,999 and can be purchased without invites.

OnePlus 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) IPS LCD In-Cell display that the company says is brighter than that of last year's model. Below the display is hardware button that houses a fingerprint scanner and can save up to five fingerprints.

The Smartphone runs on OxygenOS, based on the latest Android version Lollipop 5.1. It is the first device to ship with OnePlus' own operating system out of the box. This dual-SIM Smartphone is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, which is the fastest processor on the market right now.

OnePlus 2 sports a 13MP rear camera with a 1.3-micron sensor, laser auto-focus, dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and Optical Image Stabilization system; on the front is a 5MP selfie camera.

The company has announced that its small-screen OnePlus X Smartphone will now be available without invites globally.
