Obi Worldphone announces MV1 Smartphone

Obi Worldphone announced its new mid-segment Smartphone MV1 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016. The handset is designed by Ammunition a Francisco-based product studio. The company has priced the device for $139 and it will come in red, white and black color options.

Obi Worldphone MV1 flaunts a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Powering the device is a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor paired with 1GB/2GB of RAM. The onboard storage of the device accounts to 16GB which can be expanded further up to 64GB using a microSD card.

The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and offers dual sim functionality. The device comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP secondary camera for selfies. The handset also comes equipped with DTS Sound and dual microphone for noise cancellation.
