Reliance launches Lyf Flame 4 with 8 GB Storage

Reliance Retail has launched another Smartphone under its Lyf series. Called Lyf Flame 4, the Smartphone appears to be the successor to the recently-launched Lyf Flame 3. Lyf Flame 4 is listed on the company's website at a price tag of Rs 3,999. The Lyf Flame 3 also sports the same price tag as Lyf Flame 4.

The dual-SIM supporting Lyf Flame 4 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixel) display with pixel density of 225ppi. The screen is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass. Inside, the budget Smartphone packs a quad-core processor with Mali 400 GPU and 512MB RAM.

The Lyf Flame 4 sports a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. The handset camera can shoot videos in HD resolution at 30 frames per second. Some of the other camera features included are HDR, Panorama, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Burst Mode and more.

The Flame 4 houses 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB. It supports 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and micro-USB connectivity.

Measuring 122.5x64.4x10.25mm, the Lyf Flame 4 weighs 117 gram and is backed by a 1400mAh battery. The battery is rated to deliver standby time of up to 150 hours and a talk time of up to 4.5 hours. In addition, the Smartphone also gives users the option to choose from 10 local languages.

The Lyf Flame 3 Smartphone, which Reliance Retail launched just about 24 hours ago, features largely similar specifications except for the inbuilt storage capacity, camera and battery. The Lyf Flame 3 houses a better 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. It is backed by a 1700mAh battery, which is 300mAh more than the Lyf Flame 4 and has an inbuilt storage of 4GB instead of Flame 4's 8GB.
