5 Megapixel camera phone from Motorola with Kodak

The combination of the camera and the cell phone is getting more and more stronger. Motorola has collaborated with Kodak to launch a phone with a 5 megapixel camera. The LG Viewty is in the same league.

“Today’s creative consumers not only want to be the photographer, but also the retoucher, the exhibitor and the critic, the Motozine ZN5 lets them be all the things they want to be.” Jeremy Dale, corporate vice president, mobile devices marketing, Motorola, Inc is reported to have said.

Called Motozine ZN5 this camera phone has a 5-megapixel auto-focus camera with a Xenon flash that is optimised for low-light environments shooting. It features the ‘Kodak imaging’ and ‘Kodak perfect touch’ technologies for handling the images.

The Motozine ZN5 looks similar to Motorokr E8. It has quad-band and GSM/EDGE but is not 3G capable. Wi-Fi can be used for transferring images to the peripherals. This is going to be a phone to watch for.
