Google’s Gmail Labs in action

Google is now calling everyone to participate in a worldwide research curriculum through it’s newly introduced Gmail Labs. The new feature will certainly provide a new platform for gmail users to experiment with the exotic market solutions. With the use of Google’s Gmail Labs, you will be able to bookmark your favorite web links and then access those links by just a single click. All your bookmarked web pages will be kept stored in a label based intelligent folder to assist you open them instantly.

Google’s Gmail Labs will open a new dimension in the way people use emails today. Though, no immediate impact on the workings of traditional emails is predicted, the Gmail Labs will certainly define future of emails. At present, Google authorities will only post Gmail extensions at these researching labs to gather feedbacks from the ground level users; but eventually, external developers will also be allowed to use Gmail Labs platforms to post their products to seek users views, said a market analyst.

Google’s Gmail Labs will primarily focus on the development and customization of the free messaging services. The newly introduced feature will be available as a special tab on the Gmail Settings page. The Gmail Labs will permit taking new features to the users with higher speed and efficiency. Highlighting the launch, Keith Coleman, Gmail product manager, said “we actually want to take the next step and let Gmail users help us with that refinement”. The innovative idea of Google will make Gmail more demanding, sleeker and smarter in the coming days giving a great challenge to the existence of other email service providers.
