Microsoft launches Nokia 215, its cheapest internet phone

Microsoft has launched a new phone Nokia 215, its cheapest handset with internet processor so far, in a hope to increase its market in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The phone is priced at $29 and provides an Opera Mini Browser and Facebook Messenger built in, reports the Independent. The phone can also run Twitter along with some other applications.

Nokia 215 is a low-spec phone that has a 320x240p display, 0.3MP camera, a torch and a radio as its main features.

The built in apps can work with a 3G connection and is designed for more difficult terrains while the battery can last up to 29 days on standby.
