Samsung Galaxy A7, its Slimmest Smartphone

Samsung has finally made the long-awaited Galaxy A7 Smartphone official. The new model is the thinnest Smartphone made by the company yet at 6.3mm.

This Smartphone is a part of Samsung's new A series, has a metallic body and takes a spot above the Galaxy A5 and A3 in the company's new portfolio.

Galaxy A7 sports a 5.5-inch HD (720p) Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat)-based TouchWiz UI; the model will receive Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update, the company said. It comes with 16GB internal storage, 2GB RAM and microSD card support up to 64GB. The Smartphone is powered by a 2,600mAh battery.

Samsung will offer the Galaxy A7 in two variants. The model supporting 4G connectivity will run on the 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor (1.5GHz quad-core + 1GHz quad-core), whereas the model limited to 3G support will be powered by Samsung's own octa-core Exynos processor (1.8GHz quad-core + 1.3GHz quad-core).

On the camera front, Galaxy A7 sports a 13MP sensor on the back and a 5MP shooter in front. Among the imaging-focussed software features of the Smartphone are wide-angle selfie, rear-cam selfie and beauty face.

Some of the other unique features of Samsung Galaxy A7 are Ultra Power Saving Mode, changeable themes, private mode, multi screen and Quick Connect.
