Lenovo to launch K5 Note in India

Lenovo has confirmed that it will be launching its K5 Note Smartphone in India on August 1.

Lenovo K5 Note was launched in China in January at a price of $167, which roughly translates to Rs 11,189.

Available in Golden and Silver color options, Lenovo K5 Note flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. With the older K4 Note recently having received Android Marshmallow upgrade, Lenovo is expected to offer the update to the upcoming K5 Note soon as well.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. On-board storage of the handset stands at 16GB, which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Smartphone also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos for an enhanced user experience. It features a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and an 8MP front snapper for clicking selfies. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The dual-sim phone is backed by a 3,500 mAh battery.

It would be interesting to see whether Lenovo bundles the ANT VR headset along with the K5 Note, as it did with the K4 Note. The company recently launched the Wooden Edition of the K4 Note, priced at Rs 11,499.
