LG launches Magna LTE
LG has launched a mid-range Smartphone Magna LTE priced at Rs 16,500 in India.

The Smartphone with a slightly curved design runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a 5-inch HD display with pixel density of 294ppi.

Magna LTE is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and comes with 1GB RAM and packs 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded through micro-SD card up to 32GB.

LG Magna LTE sports an 8MP primary camera with an LED flash and a 5MP secondary camera and packs a 2540 mAh battery.

For connectivity, the Smartphone offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and micro-USB.

LG's new device measures 139.7x69.8x10.2mm and will be available in Black, White and Blue color variants.

Lava launches Iris Alfa L
Indian mobile brand Lava has launched a new Smartphone, Iris Alfa L, expanding its Iris series. The Smartphone is available across retail stores, multi-brand outlets and online stores at Rs 8,000.

Its chief competitors in the Indian market will be Moto E (2nd Gen), Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Lenovo A7000.

The dual-SIM Smartphone Lava Iris Alfa L features a 5.5-inch qHD (960x540p) IPS display and, measures 9.35mm in thickness and weighs 165gram.

Powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, Lava Iris Alfa L has a 1GB RAM, and comes with 8GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32 GB via micro-SD card.

It sports a 8MP autofocus PureCel rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.

The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and packs a 3,000mAh battery.

Available in white and metallic grey colours, the phone supports 3G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro-USB 2.0.

The Smartphone is a successor to the Iris Alfa, which was launched in January this year.

Karbonn launches Alfa A120
Karbonn has launched a new entry-level Smartphone - Alfa A120, which is priced at Rs 4,590. The Smartphone will compete against the likes of Micromax Canvas Fire 2 A104, Lenovo A526, Lava Iris X1 Mini and Intex Aqua M5.

The dual-SIM Smartphone runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 and features a 4.5-Inch FWVGA IPS display. Powered by 1.3 GHz dual core processor, the phone comes with 512MB RAM, and also offers 4GB of internal storage. Users who want more storage space can install microSD cards of up to 32GB.

Karbonn Alfa A120 sports a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and a VGA secondary camera and packs a 3000mAh Li-ion battery. For connectivity, the Smartphone offers 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a micro-USB slot.

Alfa A120 also supports 22 Indian languages, and has several utility, shopping and entertainment based apps pre-installed.

Micromax launches Canvas Spark
Micromax has launched a new entry-level Android Smartphone, Canvas Spark at Rs 4,999. The phone offers features that rival Motorola's Moto E which costs Rs 6,999.

The Canvas Spark will be available starting April 29 exclusively on online marketplace Snapdeal in white gold and grey silver color variants.

The phone sports a 4.7-inch qHD (960x540p) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 processor and 1GB RAM, the Canvas Spark has 8GB internal storage expandable via microSD card slot. The phone packs in a 2,000mAh battery.

The Smartphone has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera.

It comes preloaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop, the latest version of Google's mobile operating system. However Micromax has skinned some elements of the UI. The phone comes preloaded with apps such as PayTM, Snapdeal, Reverie Phonebook, NewsHunt, Quikr, Hotter, Chaatz and Clean Master, among others.

In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM Smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS

Lenovo launches A6000 Plus
Chinese mobile device manufacturer Lenovo has unveiled an upgraded version of its A6000 budget 4G Smartphone. It offers twice the RAM and storage capacity in the same package.

The Smartphone, named A6000 Plus, is priced at Rs 7,499 and will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting April 28.

At Rs 7,499, Lenovo A6000 Plus is priced quite close to the company's newly-launched A7000 Phablet, which has very similar features.

Lenovo A6000 Plus comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, double of the 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage that A6000 offers.

The two Smartphones share the other features: 5-inch HD screen, 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 32GB micro-SD card support, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and 2,300mAh battery. Both Smartphones have Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, 4G (Cat 4 LTE), Bluetooth 4.0 and micro-USB 2.0 connectivity options and Android 4.4-based Vibe 2.0 UI.

Both Smartphones weigh 128gram and are 8.2mm thick.

Just like the previous version A6000, the new Lenovo A6000 Plus comes with dual speakers with Dolby Digital Plus audio enhancement technology.

iBall launches Andi 5F Infinito
iBall has expanded its Andi series with another budget Smartphone - Andi 5F Infinito, which is priced at Rs 7,999. The Smartphone will compete with Lenovo A6000, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Lava Iris X8 and Asus Zenfone 5.

Andi Infinito runs Android KitKat 4.4 and features a 5-inch IPS qHD (960x540p) display. Powered by 1.3 GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor, the phone comes with 1GB RAM, and has 8GB of internal storage.

Andi 5F Infinito sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 3.2MP secondary, front-facing camera, and packs a 4,000mAh battery. 


For connectivity, the Smartphone offers 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1 and a micro-USB slot.

The Smartphone supports 15 regional languages and 22 international system languages.

LG Volt with Curved Display launched
LG has launched LG Volt Smartphone in Korea. The Smartphone, which is said to be a variant of LG Spirit, runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 and features a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280p) display. Just like LG Spirit, LG Volt's display is slightly curved with 3000mm radius curvature.

The single-SIM Smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor and comes with 1GB RAM and packs 8GB of internal storage. Users who want more storage space can install micro-SD cards of up to 32GB.

LG Volt sports a 8MP primary camera with an LED flash and an 1MP secondary camera and packs a 2100mAh removable battery. For connectivity, the Smartphone offers 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and micro-USB.

LG Volt is yet to be launched in India. The company had announced in February to launch two variants of the phone - one powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor and the other powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor to be launched in India.
