Xiaomi may launch next Android One Smartphone

The Chinese Smartphone brand Xiaomi appears to be planning new strategy for markets like India. The company is reportedly teaming up with Google in India to launch the company's next Android One Smartphone.

Google launched its Android One phones first time in the year 2014. The aim is to bring pure Android UI and timely updates to budget Smartphones in the developing markets. The OS debuted in India later that year with Smartphones made by some local manufacturers such as Micromax, Spice and Karbonn. It later expanded to Nepal, Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh and other such countries.

Xiaomi has so far not teamed up with Google for Android One Smartphones before. But now things seem to be changing. A report coming from the Krispitech website says that the Xiaomi Smartphone with stock Android UI will be taking its cues from the existing Mi 5X Smartphone in terms of design. It may be called as the Xiaomi A1 or Xiaomi Tissot. Also speculated is that the device could boast of a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The document adds the dual-SIM supporting Smartphone to boast a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display.

Mind you, there is no confirmation from Xiaomi about the Smartphone's existence. Google too has not yet given any such hints.

Both Xiaomi and Google, for now, seem focussed in launching a new Smartphone in India and unveil Android O.

ODM Topwise Communication launches Comio C1, Comio S1 and Comio P1 Smartphones

Chinese company ODM Topwise Communication has launched its budget Smartphones in India. The company has launched three entry level Smartphones - Comio C1, Comio S1 and Comio P1. This is the first time that the company has launched Smartphones in India.

Along with this the Chinese manufacturer has also signed up Yami Gautam as its brand ambassador.

Price and Availability:

The Comio C1 comes with a price tag of Rs 5,999 and is available in Mellow Gold and Space Black color options. While the Comio S1 is price at Rs 8,999 and it comes in Royal Black and Sunrise Gold colour variants. Lastly, the Comio P1 costs Rs 9,999 and its comes in two colour version Metal Grey and Sunrise Gold. The Smartphones will be available in all leading offline stores in the country in coming weeks.

The Comio C1 comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The Smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and offers 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The device sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. It is backed by a 2,700 mAh battery and offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

The Comio S1 features a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by a quad-core processor. Running Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, the device offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). The dual SIM device comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and houses a 2,700 mAh battery. It sports a 13MP rear shooter with LED flash and an 8MP front snapper for selfies.

The Comio P1 boasts of a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display and runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The Smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by inserting a microSD card. The dual SIM Smartphone features a 13MP primary camera accompanied with flash and an 8MP secondary camera. The Smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor, offers major connectivity options and houses a 5,000 mAh battery.

Leaked: Vivo Y69 Specifications

Chinese Smartphone maker Vivo is soon going to launch a new Smartphone. The Smartphone is dubbed as Vivo Y69 and has been spotted along with specifications.

It has been revealed that the Smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch IPS HD display with 1280x720p resolution and 267 ppi. The device is said to be powered by 1.5 GHz 64 Bit MT6750 octa-core processor and Mali T860, coupled with 3GB RAM. In terms of storage, the handset is expected to offer 32GB internal support as well as up 256GB of external support. It also has a fingerprint sensor, although the position of the same has not been mentioned.

The Vivo Y69 reportedly features 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 with Auto Focus and LED flash. At front, it is supposed to have 16 MP with f/2.0 with soft light flash.

Backed by 3,000 mAh battery, the handset is said to run Android 7.0 Nougat OS with FunTouch OS 3.2 skin. In terms of connectivity, the Dual-SIM Smartphone reportedly offers Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth, OTG, GPS.

However, the date of availability of Vivo Y69 is not specified.
