Gionee launches A1 and A1 Plus Smartphones

Gionee has launched two new Smartphones at the ongoing MWC 2017 conference in Barcelona, Spain. The Chinese tech company showcased the A1 and A1 Plus Smartphones, both of which are claimed to have long battery life and features that enable 'enhanced' selfie images.

Both Gionee A1 and the A1 Plus will be made available in select countries starting March 2017 and April 2017 respectively. While the A1 costs EUR 349, the A1 Plus bears a price tag of EUR 499.

Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the Gionee A1 Plus features a 6-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The dual-SIM handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. There's also 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using microSD cards of up to 256GB.

The Gionee A1 features a 20MP selfie camera. There's also a dual rear camera setup comprised of a 13MP module and a 5MP module, in addition to a 5P lens and dual-LED flash.

The Smartphone sports Waves MaxxAudio technology and is backed by a 4,550mAh battery. Measuring 166.4mmx83.3mmx9.1mm, the Gionee A1 Plus weighs 226g and will be available in Gray, Mocha and Gold colour variants.

The dual-SIM Android 7.0 Nougat-based Gionee A1 sports 5.5-inch Full HD resolution AMOLED display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, clubbed with 4GB of RAM. Internal storage stands at 64GB and can be expanded via microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.

Gionee A1 sports a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Lens and selfie flash. There is a 13MP rear autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture included in the mix as well.

Both handsets feature a bokeh-selfie affect, allowing users to blur the background for better selfies. The A1 comes with Waves MaxxAudio and is powered by a 4,010mAh battery. Weighing 182g, the handset will be available in Gray, Black and Gold colour variants.
